SITE WITH AROUND 75K AD Impressions over 1 week with ADSENSE EARNT $6 !

Hey,

My site is www.pown.us, It is an entertainment site which gets loads of traffic, I put normally 5 images/videos/jokes on per day and get around 3-5 Thousand Hits but I get normally just under a dollar per day! There are 4 ad spots on the page 3 are adsense one is empty(in the footer). Please can you help me, I really want to get even 1$ per 1k ad impressions then the site would be worthwhile.

Please any suggestions of what I can do to help ctr?

I tried pay-ads they were great but really spammy, they made my site take like 15 secs to load and there were a few popups.

PS the highest ctr is the left collumn with about 0.16% The payment per click is roughly 10c and the page ecpm is 0.17.

Try to experience with the ads placement to see which one is best for ctr

 

Try changing ads location and see which gives you a better CTR.

 

I have tried 70% of traffic is from social networks mainly stumbleupon they view content then stumble on.

It looks like you would do better with a CPM network, which pays you per impression.

 

Change source of traffic.

 

wow dude i get around $6 to $9 a day and i only have around 7000 uniques a week. your getting fucked by adsense. are you getting 75k unique hits or just over all hits? if unique hits i am willing to trade you something for the site. and how many page views do each user have.

I know I am getting screwed by adsense, I can't help my traffic source until my site is established. I am getting 100 clicks from 75k ad impressions. Any good networks paying above $0.5 cpm (no iframe) per ad then I could earn $2 cpm.

I was intersted in payperplay its just noone has been paid yet and I would rather get my $1 per day until it is set up. I have applied for axxil because they pay 30c per spot and I have 4 maybe 5 with some adjustment which would get me $1.20 cpm.
