Find something you like and make site about it. Then add url to directories and search engines. If you like topic you will like working on the site and know alot about it. Pick topic you like and you talk about with people.
so do you just want to make a website with more than 5000 unique visitors per day and have no idea? just like that....
Everyone dreams to get 5000 or more unique visitors per day, but you have to do some hardwork: have an idea, create content, optimise for SE, submit to directories, write articles with link to your site and submit them to article directories, forums, social bookmarking sites and even use PPC (but sometimes it's very expensive). Then, if your content is really good you'll start having traffic...
no content, no doctype, no basic SEO, full of Adsense and other ads... you must have some content and visitors and maybe then put some ads on it why everyone wants to have a website today? is it cool?
You need to do seo you need to have better content you need to have submitted to various directories place ads to some search engines try keeping you site free of spammers and keep chaning new and latest content on your site try to help and keep contact with your site members Hope it will help you.. You need to give your visitors a reason to come back for more. You need unique quality contents. Give more free stuff. People love free stuff. Better yet, give different free stuff everyday! (Actually, that's what I'm planning for my next blogs.) Just don't aim too high. Traffic is not something you can build overnight. It takes time and lots and lots of efforts. Good luck!
Get all the ads off your page man. Thats a waste of time for now. Build up your traffic first, to at least 100 uniques a day, then when you ad your adverts you will make about a dollar!
You need to work very hard: 1. Submit your site in directories 2. Do link exchanges 3. Update your site very often (daily or weekly) 4. Create a fantastic design for your site, which will attract your new visitors and once they visited your site they'll bookmark your site 5. Create newsletters and add a subscribe form to your site 6. Your site must be interesting for visitors 7. SEO of your site 7. And so on, there are a lot of articles about site promotion in the Internet, and all they are very useful.
5,000 unique visitors a day is nothing. You could be earning a lot of money with far, far less visitors if you target it correctly. To some niches, traffic is worth more (Read: Gambling, porn), whereas others you could have tons more traffic but be earning a lot less (Arcades for example). Choose a niche that ISNT over saturated, and do something unique with it. Nobody likes cookie cutter websites. Get something unique, and keep content fresh. People will remember it and come back.
