I recently saw a site with 3 index files. default.asp index.html default.html Just curious in this case which file will only be pickup by SE bots and files will be ignored. Any thoughts are much appreciated.
Try directly type the url without any index file. That one is the real index file. Which one will spider index? Maybe 3 of them altogether. It could be done easily with sitemap.
