    Hi..
We have a client running an eCommerce site and more than 10k pages.

He ranks well on Bing and Yahoo, but in Google, there are absolutely no links from his site.

    How is that possible ?

What should be our strategy to get him on Google.
He has a potential site and can really rank well, but may be something is hindering on the way.
    Need to know that.

Even I have submitted the site on Google webmaster tools and it shows 5800 URLs from Sitemap to be indexed.

But when I try link:domain.com on Google , it shows 0 links from his site.

    Thats crazy!
    Inputs ?

I just checked Google and seen the site is coming up in Google results...

It has around 1k pages indexed in Google and it's showing that. please search Google with site:www.yourdomain.com and you will see all indexed pages.

So it seems your problem is site is not coming on top for the keywords you're working not with Google indexing.

Only reason I can see at this point is lack of SEO implementation in proper manner.

If the website is fairly new-google likes to jump to the ranking, it should wait a little to stabilize the ranking. to 3 months if not stabilize it something is wrong, there might then be blocked from google for unwanted keywords. or a large number of unnatural links. (If a new page)

you just need to install the FF addon seoquoke to check the number of page indexed. I cant believed that 10k page website without any page being indexed, just your keyword not appear at top of SERP. By the way, suggest to use some serp tools such as google webmaster to monitor your keyword serp too

best strategy would be to suggest your client to hire a real seo consultant. really feel sorry for those poor clients!
