Ok, So i own a site with over one million pageviews a month , 300 000 visits/month. 55% of the traffic comes from US-UK.
    It's a music-download/video blog.

I use two pop-ads networks at the time being (popads.net & edomz). And one banner network (Smowtion).

So my question is, is there a way i could make over 1000$ a month with other publisher networks? I have tried many, but non of them don't generate good profit.
I just doesnt make sense that with so many pageviews i still don't make over 500 dollars a month.

    Thank you for your answer.
    I hope to learn here.

How much you earn from your traffic I think it totally depends on quality of traffic you have big amount of traffic if your traffic qulaity is really good I would suggest you contact provider which you using already like edomz and check if you can get any better rates

btw according to me you really have huge traffic if its really good traffic then you have lot of potentional to earn $1000

    Not really,

Not with your niche as it is illegal warez. You may want to check out fidelity-media as they claim to offer a minimum CPM rate of $0.10.

Yeah, the site isn't 100% legal, but we are far away from warez. we only post new mp3 files and albums-mixtapes. We do act on DMCA.

I see I see. If you run on DMCA and have a privacy policy then you shouldn't have an issue getting accepted into a reasonable network.

Why don't you try to register with ValidClick (Yahoo ad provider), they pay pretty good.

Even if advertisers ignored the legality of it, in the end advertisers are trying to make more than they spend on advertising. People who frequent MP3 pirating sites probably aren't going to spend a lot with the advertisers considering they are there trying to get something for free to begin with. :)

Its really hard to make $1k on one site only.

    So my advise is:

    1. copy your site
    2. add ads
    3. profits
    4. rinse and repeat 1 and 2.

Tough to monetize a site with warez, or even just links to warez.
Its a shame too, because I'm making twice that money with half that traffic, and just off of 1 banner ad.

My advice to you, would be to separate the site into multiple sites (at least 2).
One being a 'street legal' site, and one being the 'warez' site.
You can advertise your street legal site on your warez site, and make use of the traffic you've gotten on it.
Then you can use the real ad networks on your street legal site.
Just make sure not to link from the 'street legal' site to the 'warez' site.

It may hurt some of your SEO efforts, but if your blog is successful and has a readership, and isn't just a way to get organic traffic, then you can separate the blog into its own site, and you can easily monetize that and probably double your earnings.

Of course, I'm not sure what country you're running your business from.
In the U.S. warez sites are illegal. So I would recommend familiarizing yourself with your country's laws (and the laws for the origin of your content)

If you have a website like that and 50% is from us. try popcpm.com for banner ads. We are paying a minimum of $0.30 ecpm for US traffic.
