I heard a lot about site wide links these days are many's are implementing it in order to increase links in a big ways. But i have few questions.

Does more than one link from a same domain gives any added value?
How far is it viable to implement Site Wide Links from future point of view?

Experienswise sitewide links work and work wonders. Though of course you've got to take into account the relevance and authority of the site you are getting these links from. I had sites jumping in top10 after doing a few good sitewides with industry relevant resources.

well i don think so becoz you are getting links from one domain only. So would not prefer to have sitewide links.

Don't know how it affects your rankings and whatnot, but it sure gives your visitors more chances to click on a link and go to another part of your site, rather than wait for them to return to the main page to click on a new link, etc.

multiple links to the same page (on the same page) can actualy nullify the link value in some search engines.

Can you substantiate that claim with some evidence? What I have always understood it that if Google finds more than on occurance of the same link on the same page they will simply ignore the additional copies. But I've never seen anyone who could prove that they would penalize a page as a result.

Just think about it. All you would have to do is go put 1,000 links to your competitor on a single page and you could put him out of business.

good article. I have wondered about that as well. Sometimes I think the guys/gals at google are just having fun with SEO's all over the net just for sh*ts and giggles.

"Hey guys, lets change this algorithm next week so it only favors people with sites about dryer lint!!"

I gave up on Link: a while ago. Maybe one day it will be relevant again....
