Site-wide link on huge sites ?

Any knowledge, experiences about site-wide link on a sites over 100.000 google indexe pages ?

Based on link number it should generate PR6 for the linked site.

I've read somewhere that Google handles site-wide links different way.

What is the truth ?

 

Some people believe a sitewide link holds less value than one link on a single page. I'm not going to inject my opinion but that's the word on the "street".

 

but sidewide link is good. Because you get more backlinks.

 

It won't do you any harm, but you should try to get links from a variety of high PR sites. If PR is your main concern.

Yah, it won't harm you, but it's not going to count as 100000 full backlinks.... but, if it's sitewide, then you know you'll get the highest amount of PR possible...if you can get a sitewide link on such a site, go for it dude.... just be sure to diversify your link building efforts..... don't rely on one type of links... learn more ways to do link building.

 

If your getting links from other places too, combined with this, i think you will be ok.

 

non related sitewide will have nothing for you
