This site at www.funclownentertainment.com went from ranking 4 to 0 when site was redone went up to 3 and now back to zero. I recently added those feeder buttons at bottom of page. Also made the site accessible to mobile phones as well recently as well. Now even though the site or google ranking toolbar is not 3 any longer, the primary keywords are getting high 1st page rankings for them. Question: 1) What tools if any can be used to help me uncover problems with site that may have caused site to go to zero ranking 2) What are the possible reasons this can happen 3) What can I check into immediately, and correct that may help bring it back to #3 ranking.
Hello Friends, No problem you can solve your problem. First you should go in google webmaster then send a request message , you will get answer . You should also try to remove spam links and create a site map again and then upload i hope soon you will get good result. Then show me your status.
Hi there, May be this is due the change in Google algorithm. I think firstly you should contact with the webmaster. Secondly, this can be due to irregular promotion of your web site. I f you find saturation in your resources, you should try some new sources but regular and static SEO is must needed.
First thing I would do is to validate your site. When you do, you will see the problem with your RSS feed. And you will see the other things you need to fix. XSP is great, but not perfect. After you clean those up resubmit your sitemap etc. And don't worry too much about the PR. It can go up and down like a yo yo but is nothing to worry about. Getting your pages listed in the Search Results is what you are after.
As part of your site redesign, did you change the URLs on your site? PageRank (PR) is a measure of your URL's link popularity... based on the quantity and quality of your inbound links. If you changed your URLs and did not 301 redirect the old URLs to their equivalent new URLs then your site is not getting credit for any of its old URLs and is basically starting all over trying to rank and build PR. If you don't already have a Google Webmaster Tools account, I would get an WMT account, go through the Google site verification process, and check what you're seeing in Webmaster Tools. If you failed to redirect old web pages (URLs) to their equivalent new URLs, you should see a lot of 404 errors in WMT for the old URLs (assuming the old pages were removed from your site). If you did NOT change any URLs then for your PR to drop from 4 to 0, the URL in question could have: 1) lost a LOT of inbound links or 2) been placed under penalty. I wouldn't worry too much about #2 unless you have knowingly done something that violates Google's Webmaster Guidelines and possibly got reported by a competitor or visitor. More than likely you've lost credit for inbound links for some reason like failing to redirect web pages when you delete or rename them.
If you care about traffic, focus on that instead of PR. If you are planning to flip the site based on PR, build quality links and just wait.
hi, That may be completely wrong, just something I read anywhere. On that basis his site should be a PR0, not 3, but like I say it recently went to PR 0 thanks for sharing Regards Michal Smith
