Site Was Banned From Adsense, How To Contact Google?

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by bad_bob00, Jul 11, 2008.

    Hi,

My website was banned from Adsense earlier but I'm not too sure why.

What is the best way of contacting them to ask about things?

    Thanks

This is the *only* way you can request an appeal. You can't email Adsense support concerning a ban. If and when you do send in an appeal, hopefully you will have all your facts straight and do not use any excessive language or negative language. Be as nice as possible and complete as possible and hopefully you will be re-instated.

The only bad part, even if you get re-instated - your earnings are gone. :(

I'm in the same boat. I received a notice that my account was suspended with no details or reasons explaining why. In the same email you received saying your account was terminated, there should have been a link to file an appeal. You only have once chance to appeal so make sure to include all information that might help. If they don't reverse the termination, there is nothing you can do.

What did your notice actually say? Was it because of "invalid clicks"? or was it because your site is "significant risk to our AdWords advertisers."?

The former has to do with either unnatural clicking on the ads or unnatural traffic to your site (such as purchased traffic).

The latter apparently has to do with the content on your site: topics that are not allowed in the adsense program, copyrighted material, or a site that doesn't meet the Google webmaster guidelines.

Before you try to appeal you need to figure out why you might have been banned and fix the problem.

    Thanks for all the help.

They said that the content of my site violates the terms of their advertising program, specifically they mentioned that my site discusses "paid to click/read e-mail type sites".

I have been careful not to mention or discuss these types of sites on my website, so I don't understand where on my site I have discussed those kinds of sites.

My website is http://www.paid2review.co.uk if anyone wants to have a look for any mention of "paid to click" type sites

Well there's this on your main page:
My understanding is that they don't want you to have any hint of discussion about clicking ads = money for you. There may be other similar statements on your site that look like a red flag to them.

AdSense is tricky , you might want to start searching for a new source of revenue. Im not saying your at fault, but they are only trying to protect the advertiser.

You're site it totally against Adsense TOS. It might help if you actually read it and understood it. PTC/GPT/Paid to whatever is all not a viable medium to display Adsense ads on. Get over it and move on. It was your mistake and most people know I'd be the first person to defend a legitimately banned publisher against Google but in your case you're far too conceited to think that the Adsense TOS applies to you. Blatant violation.. 'nuff said - end of story...

stop making mountains out of molehills and move on... there's not a shred of evidence that points to you being unfairly banned.

then again - the prisons of the world are polulated with innocent victims...

Before you speak - THINK - READ --- hey, this guy was 100% violating Adsense TOS. Not a victim...

So you're casting a generalization against all Google employees? I assume everybody should just jump for you ??? Well, I'll tell you, a job at Google is just like any other job. Most hourly or salaried employees are "lazy" ... Have you ever been to a grocery store or the mall ?? Not exactly like you have jet fuel geniuses manning the cash registers... It's the same with Google or any other big company. There's no possible way they can get all employees in line unless they use "mind control" - get a grip. I'm sure you don't put 100% into flipping burgers at McDonalds...

Then again, if everybody were a scientist, we'd have nobody to pick up our trash cans...

your site is more like domain parking. the title is deceptive meaning people think your site pays people to review stuff on your site. also your ads probably has low conversions for long. other than that it could be anything from invalid clicks to click bomb. anyway you are diverting people away from adsense.

Well... they must have given you a link in the email. You can appeal using that link. If you are confused, shoot an email to
