Site To Site Transfer Problems..........

Hi,
I am changing my webhost , how can i transfer my website files from my previous host to my new host, i got data of about 70 Gb , i tried FXP but it's not working for me, i tried php script to transfer files from one server to another , but still not working for me.
so i email my webhost company they said:

"The only way to make connections to external servers using our hosting services is to connect through a proxy server"

How can i transfer my files from one server to another using proxy server ?

Please help................ :-(

I have the problem alike with the one majestics explained.
I am also trying to change the webhost and I have the 2 ftp accounts already to connect.
I need to transfer all the files from one FTP to another with the SAME file permissions.
I have some files Chmodded to 666, some to 644. And many other custom permissions made. And setting them all over again does not seem possible. Please suggest me a program for me to do this.

1) Tar it
2) Wget it to new server
3) Extract it

Or appoint someone to do it

 

I don't have the access to the server
So how can I make an archive?

i dont have a cpanel on my old host. i have Tuxtools

 

i dont have a cPanel either , is there no way i can transfer my self website stuff on other server ? my website traffic is increasing day by day , and my website is getting slower and slower ,
How can i connect with external servers through proxy server ?
