For getting people to transfer files only hire some one by posting in Services section of DP.

But they will shift files only.

I will do it for $5 per 100 MB. It could take awhile if its over that so thats why I have to price it this way.

I'll do it entirely for $5, since it's not difficult... There's really no fine line between quality and no quality for this. Lol.

Shoot me a PM or reply back, its up to you.

actually for every job, even the smaller one there is a quality scale. When you do jobs for less money then you deserve it, you tend to shortcut things, like in every business. I have no shortcuts my friend, i'm almost sure people who do jobs for $5 don't do double checking, etc.

^ I'd tend to agree. The quality lies in small things such as remembering to chmod the files and ensuring that you move the database correctly and checking the sites for any errors before determining it as "done".

But anyway, if you're still looking I can do this for $20 :)

This isn't actually true. I have moved files for people plenty of times, I make sure to check that everything is running. I make sure to check PHPMyAdmin, ALL MySQL Databases, ALL E-Mail accounts, and I go into the file manager to make sure all files are there. I may work for cheap but I make sure the job is done right..

My offer of $5 is still standing.

You may or may not do it right. But why to reduce the value of work?

He thinks if he reduces the value of the work he will get clients, well that is not essentially true for a "service" type business. Price reflects quality, it's in the human brain to think pay more - get more, pay less - get less. He will have clients, those who doesn't tend to pay extra more, those who can't afford to pay more then they can, those who doesn't bring any actual business profit. The market share that he has his cut with is that same market share of people willing to pay low. Those who set higher price rates and rates that reflect work, have other type of market share that brings more to the business. That's why companies don't set low price jobs and freelancers do. Companies reflect trust and a high price tag. Freelancers reflect something else ;)

Why must you find faults in the ways of everything. Although many assume that if you pay less you get less, but were moving files here. Its not that hard to move files and I price according to the amount of work I will have to do. Why should he pay $20 for the same service I will be offering at $5?

TBH I can care less... What else do I have to do with my time? Nothing... It either gets done wright or wrong, therefore no use for a quality scale. Just two linear points as close as can be, but yet so far away.

Now that just ticks me off... You're W R O N G. Tell that to McDonald's, who made my country the fattest in the world. Pshh.
Do not defy the counterexample, it has spoken. Lol.

Also, do you really need to double-check things? All you have to do is move everything, import settings and tables then test... Testing may be a bit long but its not hard, at all. And you don't have to even double check anything, you just go back to something when you find an error.
