I see this stuff all the time. This guy claims his site generates over 3K/Month via adsense and then it ends up selling for 10K on ebay. To be honest, I dont think this one is a scam, due the amount of information regarding the site. Plus the buyer was really happy with it. It does seem low to sell for that much, but mabe he didnt have time to run it, or mabe he needed 10k for something.
There are many people that lack the basic logic of seeing into the future. If we are talking about a legit 3k$/month website here, then i see no absolute reason to sell it for 10k. I see no reason to sell it at all. 3k a month could turn into 5k a month aswell as 10k a month. However, some people probably need the money right away, and prefer to build another website like that, develop it to a certain level and sell it.
