Is there any tutorial out there that teaches you the basics of taking an uncoded .PSD and turn it into a function template for a website? If so, could someone post the link, and if not, it should be written unless the process is just that complicated.

I don't think that the process is that complicated, it's that very design is unique and therefore the code required is genrally unique, making it very hard to write a tutorial. However, there are a few tutorials around,

    Here are some attempts

    Check that out

Look for image ready tutorials. All you do is slice up the template and choose save as it will kick out the html file and an images folder. Open that bad boy up in your favorite HTML editor and do work son! Google Quality 1st Legal. I did that site. Its green and white. All Photoshop

Try looking through some HTML/CSS tutorials as they will give you a general idea. Once you've done that structure the website into sections (Header, navigation, content and footer) then take the parts needed from the PSD and insert them into the DIVS (Logo into the header etc).

If you don't feel confident enough then various websites will take the design and convert it into html for around $100 (search for psd2xhtml)

My opinion is learn CSS, and xHTML then all you do is slice what ever images you need. it will make sense once you learn it
