Hello every one i need your help in adwords in adwords help it says:::: Cost-per-thousand impressions (CPM). You set the price you'd like to pay for each 1000 impressions the ad receives. Clicks don't matter -- you are charged whenever the ad is shown to a user. i run site target ad, i set my max CPM to 0.25, i have 5776 Impr and only 8 clicks and the cost is $8.88 how is this? they say Clicks don't matter....so how they billed me 8.88$
because your ad was showen to the user. You get billed based on exactly that and not a per click. That's why High CTR is important for site targeted campaigns.
Either you;re not looking at everything that took place during that time frame (deleted campaigns or sites, date range, etc) or the stats just haven't synced up yet....or there is a mistake in your account. Price/billing errors are pretty rare so odds are you're just not looking at all the info or the stats haven't synced yet. If you don't think any of that is the cause try contacting adwords support.
