My site is generally an asp site and uses the php file to serve the ads through the asp pass through. My host suspended the site this morning due to a cript which I think might be the coop, and I just wanted any help/information as the site does use ad_network_ads_213.php The host states that; The script is writing to Temp Internet Files every 2 seconds and these files are not being deleted, therefore building up massively to the point that it could affect the overall server performance. I will get the site re-instated as long as I remove the script. Can anyone confirm that the coop script does/does not use Temp Int Files?
Sounds like a datafeed script that is writing to a cache folder. I say that, because I have some datafeed scripts myself that do this. You just have to watch your cache folder and delete them every now and then. In my case, I get a cpanel notification that tells me my hard drive space is at 80%. The coop just writes to your .txt file. That shouldn't be an issue at all.
Check the contents of one of the temp files and see what's in it.. that might help to tell you what's doing it.
Thanks, I am waiting to get ftp restored so that I can have a look, just wanted to do some homework while i am waiting and rule things out.
I know its not the coop's problem however I can confirm my host suspended my account due to the asp workaround that uses the php script and an asp xmlhttp pass through solution. The domain has been inappropriately using system resources, causing a reduction in service for other account holders. The domain name is responsible for the generation of over 500 temporary files every few minutes. I cant get access to the Temp file however I was given examples; Maybe only a problem for me still as its a busy site and uses a MOD, however I thought other users of this script/work around should be aware. I will now add this to my list of "Longest days of my life" Not that its solved, just when I thought the coop was sorted and my asp site would not be banned (again) - my host bans me if only I was as clever as Shawn or some of you guys I could code my own solutions. Looks like one problem was solved and another created, sheesh I sure can test these scripts to the max I guess they are right when they say psoriasis is caused by stress
BTW if someone could solve this issue I would be happy to pay a couple of hundred dollars to reduce my stress levels, the show will go on, but I enjoy the ad network and I would rather have this solved in the short term rather than buy a site or have others face the same problems later on.
Yea here too. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=22735 And i posted something which i didn't know and then lorien bashed me. I deleted my posts One more just bumped http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=1495443#post1495443
I suppose you was born with the knowledge of that ??? Stop flaming people for asking questions, this is not the first time you are doing this fryman, its a very bad habbit.
the problem is not asking, the problem is bumping old threads. Why not start a new topic to ask, and making reference to this if necessary?
My issue is not bumping, but fryman telling people that they are stupid when he probably once was stupid himself.
