My web hosting provider suspended my account (without notice) because of 'server load'. My website has around 10k page impressions a day and I have recently upgraded my account to meet up the bandwidth limits. How legal/right is web hosting company suspending my account because of server load? Aren't their servers supposed to handle the load. Or at least they need to clarify how much load on server is limit. Gosh!! I am pissed off at them. Any good hosting providers around? I would love to switch.
They can do whatever they want, it's their server. All hosts will suspend an account for too many resources. You're best off in this situation to move to a VPS, that way you don't have to worry about anything but bandwidth.
aaah ah...thanks for it. Its expensive to have VPS account, but I guess I might have to consider it given the situation. I am loosing money since site is down. Damn!
but at least I am expecting is notification that my site is taking their resources etc etc. Come one, you can't just pull down a site!! grrrr
