Ok let me tell you what i am doing for my site. The site is 2 months old.First i am promontig the site whit spinsuccees, they will submit your site to 100000 engines for only 30$ a month you do nothing.Second i have 25 articles about 25 diferent products and in the bio box i have inserted my website link and the product link and the last step i do now is building backlinks.Forums blogs directorys yahoo answers and everything were you can post your link
Hello dear You should add some keyword links in your SIG here on the boards. This will really help you get indexed fast. You can set that up in your User CP. In most cases using an automated service isn't going to help, and could potentially get your site blacklisted as many sites consider auto submission as spamming.
I have a question. If i submit my website to google for exemple every week 7 days can i have problems whit my site to get indexed or nothing hapens. I now submit my website to 15 best search engines 2 times a mont and 1 time a month in other 100000 smaller engines. Is this good?
Do a Google Search for url submission for Google, Yahoo and Bing. Sign up for there webmaster admins. Submit sites. Also using jumptags and Digg are quick ways to get backlinks and indexed quickly.
No, sounds like an absolute waste of time. Check your logs... more search engines will be visiting than you'll ever be able to identify. Some are corporate paid engines, some are public like Google and others will be experimental. Save yourself some time and use a tool like Xenu to ensure your site is able to be indexed, give it a sitemap and get on with the next job.
http://www.webmasterfreetools.info/submit/ - allows you to submit to 140 search engines for free, much better then submit express.
What on earth are all you people talking about? There are not 140 or even 40 search engines that matter - there are perhaps 4. And you don't need to submit to any of those - they will find you. All of these "add to search engines" scams are just that: scams. "A fool and his money are soon parted."
You should always manually submit your site to search engines... Even those "4". It's the best and quickest way to get indexed, and properly categorized. If they just "found you", there'd be no reason to have submit pages like this: http://www.google.com/addurl/ http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/au/free/submit http://www.bing.com/webmaster/SubmitSitePage.aspx
I bet you're one of those people who pushes elevator buttons repeatedly believing that will somehow make the elevator move more quickly. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacifier
No, but it will close the door, or open it depending on which on you push again. If you have no one linking to your site, and you are not linking to someone else's site (which a great many sites do), you're not getting indexed. It's good practice, and SEO 101 to get into the habit of submitting your URL's to an SE manually. It's the first thing you should do, and the most important as well.
If both of those are true, you have more to worry about than trying to find a "submit" URL. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that was posted as humor. Good one!
