danielle, you need not submit to search engines . Just get your site listed in one or two sites frequently spidered by G bot. Your site will be indexed quickly.

I've seen better results listing a new site, vs. not. There are a lot of assumptions taken when claming that simply creating a new site means an instant crawl. One of the assumptions is that the site has back links into it from some place that IS crawled.

As with all things, YMMV, however I have a system for sucess which includes listing with 14 major SE's whenever I create a new site. Of course I do this in tandem with other promotion, back links, etc.. Again, YMMV.

 

Yep. This one. Create a signature with a link to your new site and Googlebot (and the other spiders) will find you.

Thanks for the postive comment but just for the record I was not complaining about no members. I was just commenting that I need to learn how to convert my traffic.

 

Before you submit to the search engine.make sure you are using the right keywords with in your meta tag...& do'nt submit your URL more than once a month.....

I think search engine submission is west of time. But you want to submit your site in search engine go too easily. Go to Addme (.)Com and fill the all details & click on all search engine submission check box & submit.

I think submitting to various search engines is not a good idea as I submitted it to various search engines but no was result found...so its better to submit it to the major search engines...

You have to work hard.have to do directory submission,link building,forum posting etc. etc.
