Site Submission

I did some research on this whether there a need to submit our site to search engines or not? Some guru said need and some said don't need, what is your opinion? Please comments. Thanks

 

I never submit my sites to search engines. Instead, just get a few high quality links from article marketing or social bookmarking. The spiders will follow the link to your site and eventually index your site.

 

there is no need to submit your site to search engines anymore. all you need to do is to build backlinks and search engines will find your site by following the backlinks you created

 

You can submit if you want, and do some seo matter....

 

just follow seo process and submission for few days, your site automatically get indexed

 

I like to submit my xml sitemaps to the big 3.
This way they have a list to go by

Also by using Google's webmaster tools you can sometimes catch problems and violations before Google slaps you.

 

YOu should not need to submit to the search engines. Get backlinks and they will find your site through spidering others.

 

I agree with previous posters. Submitting your sites is just a waste of time, time that you should spend on building backlinks.. The SE indexing will come by itself if you do a good job with backlinking.
