site structure is more important then sitemap?

    Hello,


    i saw a video on youtube that claiming that if you have a good structure on your site then you dont need a sitemap. Because if the serp can navigate your site easily then it is useless to submit a site map. more over if you submit sitemap and the serp reach a certain page only through the sitemap, but the site structure is so poor they will not crawl it and or will not give it any value.

    so why people continue to put more effort in sitemaps then in the site structure?

    If you have a good structure and all of your pages are in index, than you doesn't need sitemap at all )
    If not - sitemap and structure, both are important.

    sure! if you have a good structure for your site, google will love you site. however, sitemap is still important to your site. don't forget that.

    Only a small site cannot take advantage of a sitemap. Big sites really need them to get better site coverage by search engines.

    Site structure is also important. As to which one is most important I think it really doesn't matter as you have to take a holistic approach when dealing with any site.
