Site Structure Changed - Rankings Down

I've attached this picture for a better explanation of my problem.

1.This was the structure of the website when I had good rankings.
2.I've changed the structure of the website to see if I can get better rankings and all my Google rankings dropped.

Now I've come back to the 1st structure, but no changes in rankings. Any ideas ?

How long did you leave the first change in place before swapping it again?

Site structure can sometimes effect the rankings depending on how much you've changed. Did you change the urls too?

I don't know exactly but it was about 4 or 5 days.

The content was the same, I only changed how he was positioned in page.

You should of left it a bit longer, Google can take a while to assess the changes and reflect it in the SERPs.

Even positive or small changes can harm your rankings while things get updated. Have a look for my thread the other day "Ranking page 1 for SEO Company on backlinks alone" and see the shift just by changing a few minor things for the better.

    Ok...

One more question that popped in my head right now. How I can make the Google Bot come more often to my website, after I make some changes, so I can experiment more ? Post on this forum, with links in signature ? - ( Waiting for Methods )

It is an interesting thing. I want to say that changing your sites layout does not effect your search engine rankings but I'm really not sure anymore. I have seen some strange things as many others have.

Changing your site layout would affect your rankings. google still takes into account keyword prominence and if layout changes affect this then rankings would be affect. how much, depends.
