Hey So err, kinda stumped on this. I submitted a brand new site to google 6 days ago as well as a sitemap of all the pages that needed indexing. The site was coded with seo in mind, I used correct tags for headings etc, valid semantic code and all that stuff... But, for some reason it's still not indexed. The website is for a local business and all the content is unique. Can anyone shed some light? thanks
You do not have to submit a site to google to get it indexed fast if you build some high quality backlinks your site will get indexed much faster. If you get some backlinks from your signature link here at dp a backlink from digg.com your site will be indexed in no time.
Hi crazyryan, just keep a alexa widget and submit ur posts to top 2 to 5 social bookmarking sites, within 2 days ur site wl get indexed. Good luck
thanx, if I suppose to launch a site then i wom't have to submit it in google, just try to get more backlink to my site.. is that so?...
create profiles on Digg, Stumbleupon, Delicious, Squidoo, HubPages and other social media sites. When you set up a new site go to these social media sites and either bookmark them or link to an article you have written. This is quickest way to get indexed. Just submiting to Google won't do, I'm not saying it's wrong, just you will be wasting your time if there are no sites linkign to you as Google will not index a site that has no links pointing to it.
For quick indexing of a site, submit this site to all major search engines and also submit it to major social media sites like digg, reddit, stumbleupon, delicious, technorati etc.....
Just build links in different link building avenues like what they said. Of course the easiest way is building links through forums and social bookmarking sites.
6 days....ahhh you will probably need to wait a little longer than that. But essentially all of this talk about backlinks is good advice. You should be amassing links at some pace to initially kick start some indexing.
