Site Shows Up On Google With No Description and Site Preview

    Hi Everyone,

I have a problem with one of my client's sites. The site ranks first page of Google on specific keywords, but the description that is supposed to be under the Title is nowhere to be found.

The domain is aged. However, what happened was:
We have created the site using a dummy domain.
After we finished completing a WP site on that dummy domain, we transferred it to the actual domain.
Before we transfer the brand new site, the old actual domain works well and is indexed properly with the description and all.
However, after we transferred it, the description is nowhere to be found.

I'm thinking that Google might not index the new site yet.

What do you think? Any thoughts?

    Thanks a lot in advance!

The domain is aged for more than a year or so. But we just transferred the new site to the actual domain weeks ago.
So, that it's more of an indexing issue? That's what I think as well. Thanks!

The most probable reason for this could be your robots.txt files...
Make sure they are not blocking the bots from crawling your description.
