Thanks for making this forum available to a grateful, computer obessed newbie! I managed to install the site search, and get it to work, but I'm having a problem with the search results. Those results that consist only of a page address as opposed to a text link do not link to the page as depicted, but rather link to the index page (in IE) or the search query page (in Firefox.) I've tried a few things, but can't seem to get results, so I'm hoping someone can educate me. I really appreciate the help!

What's the site you are trying to search, and what's the keyword you are searching for as an example?

It's going to be limited to Google's index since it uses Google as the backend. For example: [search=google]site:www.jcurranphotography.com flora[/search] The best thing you can do is just get more links to your site from other sites and Google will spider your site more often.

Thank you for the help. When you do the search directly through google instead of my site, the links go back to the correct page in the site. However, the links displayed in the site search as I have it set up go back only to the index page, or the sear query results page. It's not the amount of links, but how they respond once displayed... or am I just not getting it? Won't be the first time. I appreciate your time!

Wow! Thanks so much. If you ever have the time and are so disposed, could you tell me what was wrong and what you did? You know, that "thirst for knowledge" thing. Thanks again for your great free service. I'll throw you a link on my official links page, but as you mentioned, it's not worth much:)
    Your friend,
    Miriam
