Site review - need help with Yahoo and Google

    http://www.seattle-home-loans.com

I created this site as my first SEO project to try to increase business for a local mortgage loan officer. It has been up for a couple of months and has the following stats:

Google: 65 pages indexed, 7 links
Yahoo: 17 pages indexed, 145 links
MSN: 165 pages indexed, 501 links

It ranks very well for a few searched phrases on MSN, but is nowhere to be found on G or Y. It has "predicted" PR4 (currently 0).

I'm guessing that I may be in the Google sandbox, but this does not explain the complete lack of attention from Yahoo. Any thoughts on the site would be appreciated!

put the sitemap on the right on all pages. That's my 2 cents

Add a nice, small footer with anchor-link to seattle-home-loans.com. Also add correct meta tags... Like latehorm said, sitemap is a god idea, charset change too, G. don't like windows-1252.

However, links are more important, like usually.

OK, I added meta tags and a small footer link. About the sitemap on all pages - is that for better Yahoo spidering? I'm worried that it will detract from what I consider to be a good graphic design. Can you point me to some tasteful examples?

    thanks everyone!

Is that for better all spidering :) Don't worry about graphic design, here You can find two examples of different implementations:

    emporia.edu/ (footer)

    business.jhu.edu/ (left table)

OK, now I'm a bit confused. The examples you gave me show a link to the sitemap on every page, not the actual sitemap on every page - which is what I thought you were suggesting, and would not look very good. I already have a sitemap link on all of my pages at the top. Is that all I need? Should it be in a different place?

Oh no, I thought about link to sitemap on every page :)

I haven't seen it before, sorry. And what about the place... Well, I say it's okay. If You'll see in the future that G or Y don't index Your site correctly then try move it at the bottom, one line over footer link.
