    Hi DP'ers

If anyone has a IE6 browser can you spare 20 sec to see if the site loads for you. I've been told that the site timeout on them or freezes.

The ie6 accounts for about 30% of the traffic.

The site is www.mmanewsweekly.com and uses the pligg script which is fairly cross compatible.

Thanks in advance and please leave some comments.

    thanks

    Locks it up solid here.

Of course, the two carriage returns before your doctype is putting IE6 into quirks mode, if you weren't in quirks mode this bullshit:

    <!--[if lte IE 6]>

probably wouldn't even be needed since you'd not be hacking around quirks mode.

While I've never heard of pligg, from what I'm seeing for javascript I'm amazed it loads and works at all in any browser.

YET ANOTHER (trademark pending) page where I'd throw it all away and start over. Two to three times the HTML being output for such a simple layout.
