It looks good, but maybe she could add some illustration pictures. Pure text is not as eye-catching, somepictures could to the job.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. One thing I forgot: You may also add some social bookmarking buttons, so it will become popular much faster. You can get a lot of visitors from digg, stumbleupon, facebook etc.
Content is looking very dence...for me... Say her to have some space between two lines. Also use some titles as bold or strong.

Nice design. The left pan of the site has more white spaces, just reduce the white space by moving the division line into little bit left position.
