Site review for being accepted to Adsense program

    Hi,

I see people talk a lot about a site 'being under review' for adsense program. I am talking from the point of view of a webmaster who wants to include Adsense on his/her website.
Does that mean that a human pair of eyes reviews each site that signs up for Adsense? Also, what happens if there is a problem with your site? Do they tell you what the problem is so that you can make necessary adjustments?

All sites being review by human pair eyes, if your site didn't approve there is no hint for you.. figure it out yourself..

yes, thats why they take 2 to 4 days to approve or reject your site.
They obviously have tool to detect 6 month old website, duplicate content detection but still i think they depend on approval by human .

All adsense accounts are approved by a human, then they check your site using tools, copyscape and stuff.

I would bet that there is an initial screen that is automated, and then some sites get a human review and some don't - which is why some people are approved in a few days, and others don't hear back for more than a month.

If you go to the official Adsense Help Forum, you can see some real rejection responses that people have posted. They tend to be quite general, and they don't give you any indication whether your site has multiple issues or just one.

But really, if you carefully read all the Program Policies and are sure your site is qualified, you should be fine (you might be surprised how many people post complaining that their application was rejected and it turns out their site clearly doesn't meet the criteria).
