Site Review - 4 domains and not good sublinks

    Site Review:

I have 4 domains that goes to the same place:
    ciadanutricao.com / ciadanutricao.com.br / companhiadanutricao.com >>> companhiadanutricao.com.br

I have more 8 domains that I can use and I can buy others if this is important.
For example, I thought to create a notebook review website and inside it put my own banners. Something like:
    http://supernotebooksreviews.com (just an example).

My doubt is: is interesting to create new domains (in my language, sure) to get a better position in specific keywords? Or is possible to compete with the same domain with a lot of different keywords?

What about to create a SUBDOMAIN for each keyword?
Something like: notebooks.companhiadanutricao.com.br and adjust the webpage to get a better SEO ?

ONE PROBLEM THAT I CAN SEE (AND IBP SAID) was that our website has just a few sublinks to it while our competition has thousands. So, If I am not wrong, if I get the better content, I will not get a better position than my principal competitor, because it has thousands of sublinks redirecting to it. (I THINK THIS HAPPEN BECAUSE THEY USE AN AFFILIATE PROGRAM).

People say here that is good to insert in some Directories, articles... But in my case, using a PORTUGUESE article, is this possible? How can dmoz.com know that my article is good if they don't unsertand portuguese?

Some words I'd like to get better position (my niche):
    suplementos alimentares
    notebook
    notebook sony vaio
    tenis reebok
    bicicletas
    bikes
    perfumes
    relógios
    games
    ...

    SOFTWARES TO MANAGE CONTENT:
We can see Joomla (everytime invaded by crackers), Wordpress, foruns like SMF, phpBB and others.

Which of them you believe could be better to manager a better information website and give a good SEO?

My PR in Google: 0 (again sublinks)
My Alexa rank: 1,089,000 (today, but everyday it is about 50,000 less or more)

    Tks for your colaboration.

Be wary about interlinking related sites of your own - I've linked back customers' websites to my own web design site with a "designed by" link and - so far - that's been OK and has helped but when I tried interlinking two related websites (a new site to a 11 month old site) I got a 30 place penalty on the 11 month old site which then lifted once the link was removed. Could be coincidence, could maybe be due to a combination of that and external links, I don't know.

Try Googling "article directory" in Portugese and see what comes up. I think article directories such as http://e-articles.info/ do have different domains for different languages.

Some of your keywords are English and so you could target them in the normal way - articles, squidoo, hubpages etc, but I would guess that you still need some backlinks from domains hosted in Portugal.

Also try using a backlinks checker to see where your competitor has got his links from.

Just registering the domains and pointing them at your site will not help. You need to get links to your site with your keyphrases in the anchor text.

Notebooks, laptops and electronics is a very high competition area and I doubt that you'll get ranked for the top keyphrases without years of work .... you'd be better off doing proper keyword research (to find what people are actually typing, rather than what you think) and go after the longtail phrases initially.

    Hello jj1,

    Thanks for your post.

Hum... this is important to know. What was the rank you used like parameter? Alexa?
Because NEW DOMAINS usually start with Alexa Rank 15,000,000
Maybe this can be not good for OLD ONES.

I have tryed to find somes. But they usually (in Brazil) to suggest to use Dmoz (or something like that) to post articles. In Portuguese from Brazil I don't know any good Directory. Maybe I can try these ones you suggest, that already have in others languages.

Portugal? Hum.. looks like a good idea. BUT...
When you are in Google Search, you can have a WORLD WIDE search (that I don't believe it is pure world wide) or you can ask for SEARCH IN PORTUGUES (maybe Portugal comes here) and in BRAZILIAN PAGES ONLY. This last option will be my bigger problem. I will explain why...

... I have here IBP 11, WebCEO and others tools. I can see from where some of my competitors get their links.
    The problem is:

IF they have a partnership (I do believe in affiliate program) with a website, this website will not want to allow our website to put a link inside it.

Another problem I saw: there are not a lot of good webpages to put your link when we are talking about some specific products like "suplementos alimentares" (supplement food).

So, this make think: I WILL NEED to start new DOMAINS to compete with these WEBSITES THAT link to my competitor?
I don't know if this is a very good thing to do, because in 1 month I will have about 30 new domains to mantain.

    :)

But I thought to create a new domain and put inside it good content, like a New Notebook review that people want to buy and in the text I can use this links to our website.

I don't know if I understand what you wanted to explain, but I have a bit doubt about the phrase: You need to get links to your site with your keyphrases in the anchor text.

    How can I do that?

    Is this something like:

    NOT USE just "notebook"
But something like "notebook sony vaio"

    or

    "notebook sony vaio CR590"

    Is this?

One thing that I want to use is PPC in AdWords. In fact, I don't like AdWords. I think there is a lot of fraud in its clicks. But, I think PAID click can help to compete in these kind of keywords you said.
So, I could use 3 - 4 words phrases in Organic search and 2 or 1 word in Pay Per Click.

One thing that I believe can help me very much is the AFFILIATE PROGRAMS. Some webmasters in Brazil will want to insert my links (products) to sale and get commissions. I think this can help to try to get new partners in Brazil.

    Tks for your comment.

I take a look at here.
My competitor has 4,500 sublinks in keywords: "suplemento" and "suplemento alimentar".
I could see what were the webpages.
Some of them talk about how to EARN money with my competitor's website. So, it has something about Affiliate Programs like I thought.

Maybe, a Good idea could be start to go in each of these 4,500 links and try to offer our own Affiliate Program for them.

We will only pay when they sale.

    What do you think?
