Has google done any changes or could it be another effect..coz I have noticed that refferals from Google to one of the sites i manage has roughly dropped by 19% within 2 months.

I havent done major promotion except submit the home page link to search engine friendly directories some 3 months back. Also my domain name is 8 years old.

    Any ideas??

It keeps fluctuating and is a normal thing. Keep doing your regular work and it will come back.

It is possible that competitors in your niche work more efficiently because they take time to improve their web sites. As a result, they experience hire rankings while yours have dropped a bit. You need to constantly grow the amount of your links. This is an important issue because it helps you to not only raise the results but also keep them stable.
