You need to do 301 redirect all old urls to the appropriate page.

Try to use all old SEO information in your new website and also use 301 redirect for your all webpages

Its good that you have moved to the WordPress platform. Now you have access to a wide range of plugins, themes and extensions for making your blog impressive and efficient. First of all, download the 'Yoast SEO' and start using it. This will help you to gain good rankings in the search engines.

In my POV, It doesn't directly affect SEO, but it does increase user experience.

You need to create page URLs for all pages like previous pages only.If not you can use some page redirect plugins like https://wordpress.org/plugins/quick-pagepost-redirect-plugin/
Word press is good CMS for SEO.

Changing the CMS can have an effect on your ranking, as new code is used even when you display the same content - and google bots read code not just "content". But if you do everything properly - the redirection part - and seeing that wordpress is one of the most popular and seo friendly cms, you should not have any problems.

You have taken a great decision of switching to wordpress CMS. By this, you will get many plugins to promote your site easily and effectively. Well, talking about the effect of redesign on ranking, so do proper 301 redirection for your site.

Website redesign does has an impact on the rankings. I have various examples wherein there have been significant ranking fluctuations after the design was changed.

Use old SEO data for your new site and do 301 redirects .It would help you.You can opt for SMO also this time. But yes, wordpress is better than PHP .no doubt.

I just checked out your site. Your entire homepage content is copied. Please resolve it ASAP. Maybe it will help you improve your rankings. Also, your site is showing that only 1 page is indexed. One page sites are difficult to rank.
