Site Reconsideration - Will Search Rankings Come Back?

About 3 weeks ago, I was re-acquiring my domain name since it had gotten hijacked and as a result, no name servers were set. I believe that's the reason my site got de-indexed in the first place.

I sent a site reconsideration request and got this reply today:

Looking at my sitemap in the webmaster tools, there are indexed pages. My question is, will my search result rankings steadily climb back to where they once were, or will I remain off the map? I had several high traffic articles with some good keywords which ranked #1 easily, but now they're nowhere in sight.

Thanks, that's good to hear. Roughly 3/4 search engines, little less than 1/4 from back links, and the rest from direct type ins.

Be patient and continue working. All you can do right now is wait, but trust me, my site was once penalized and it took a lot of hard work to finally get to where I am at today. You obviously already have the capability of getting a high-traffic article done, so keep doing this and it will eventually get you back up!

I also suggest getting some back links from high PR blogs.

yes but it usually takes time.. if you haven't change anything on your content much better... try to help SEs to crawl and index your site more faster by gather more quality links..
