Is ok for me to add my link to a site that has no PR at all but received tens thousand real visitors a day. The owner says they are not using any hits bots or any of that kind to generate fake visitors. Will it hurt my PR. (Yes, i know that some of you might say PR is not important) And i'm wondering why is there's such site, no PR but has VERY high Alexa ranking, and Google does index the site. Thank, really appreciate your help guys
I think that's a great sources to attract traffics from those websites. However, please bear in mind that you should only add your links to websites that related to your niches. Otherwise, your act will influence your PR. Although many webmasters are obsess in improving PR. Fundamentally, we should focus in websites content quality besides just working as "PR slaves". Stay for quality content and building links to the same niches in long-term. You website's PR will be rewarded.
It's great that a site with no pr is getting that type of traffic however, if google suspects that the site is selling links it will be penalized not only will it have a negative affect on the pr of the site it will also affect the sites rankings in the serps, you have to be careful.
The site is related to my niches and the content are unique and quality. Well the site is not selling link. There's no inbound links to other sites in his page. Is there other reason why there's no PR on certain high traffic site? And will it effect my PR if i add link to it?
Sounds suspicious to me. See if you can get out of him what he is doing to get so much traffic. If he won't give you at least enough to convince you I would pass.
Mr. Google is unpredictable..& i think sometime he is crazy proof = one of my blog...no visitor..only 1 posting on June 11..BUT this Mr G just reward my blog with PR4!!!... till now...i cant stop laughing see urself >> http://cari-buat-duit.blogspot.com/
Yup, the way they rank site is unpredictable. Seeing your blog with PR4 with just 1 posts is really funny
I think the PR thing is hugeley overated.. What would you rather have ... a PR 5 site with 100 visiotrs or a PR 1 site with 1000? Sounds like a no brainer to me.. I would add the link and not worry about it
If you can get the link and it brings you traffic do it. One caution, if they've had their PR removed because Google thought they were selling links, then you might want to pass.
If the traffic is quality traffic, I can't see any problems. I do however, question where the traffic is coming from on this site.
