Hi All. Our last web designers mad: enjoyonline ) were pretty crap and after spending £2600 this is the rubbish they have given us and called a website, needless to say we are now taking them to court. Please see our website at www.ultimatepubquiz.com We really need some one with an eye for design to rebuild the front end for us (later will need to re-build the back end) and give it some style. Please place your ideas here for me to see. I dont have any ideas for what I want so feel free to experiment, would like clean, modern look with white backround maybe with a little flash in the opening page. Site must be built to W3C Markup Validation Service unlike our existing site that has over 200 errors! We are not web designers and as such have to rely on you guys to help us put our site together so any ideas or advice offered is welcome We are also look to have 2 directories built, 2 forums and several other sites to follow. Hey steve, I remember when you first ran a contest for this site, think i still have my entry kicking about somewhere (at least i THINK that was you lol) - i'll perhaps enter with it or another if I get the chance, busy as i'm going to the states friday but will try my best to enter in some way shape or form. I think your best bet would be to either split the jobs up so you have a designer work on the layout etc. and then have it coded separately by another person/company because there aren't many people on here who could do all of the jobs to a good standard. I would only be able to offer design and coding of the PSD for example and no programming.
