Site ranking

Hi - I just set up 3 sites, around the same time. I've used the same SEO tatics for all of them , yet one has ranked no1 in 3 months, whilst the others are not yet ranked !! Is there any reason why ?

 

It happens not all site are equals in all terms.

 

There are so many factors for rankings, you can not expect to see the same results for different sites. Did you take the competion factor into account?

 

I find it pretty random. Some low competiton sites don't rank high and some high competition sites do.

 

Well, Your other two sites have more competition than our first site that rank earlier. Remember Keyword competition is directly proportional to time taken in getting ranking. Means more competition then it will take more time to get rank.

 

Sure, competition in certain niches is more hard to beat. But you can analize them, and try to improve their work to reach a good position on the SERPS. (Use a keyword research tool.)

 

your 2 other sites have more competition then other 1 website. try hard to get them on top.

 

Other reason could be like you get better backlinks for one site compared to the other two.

 

If they are all not for the same keywords, it could be that other keywords are more competitive.
