Site = PR1 inner pages = PR2????

    My homepage is only PR1 but i have some inner posts that are PR2 why is this??????


    I did all my link developement by linking to my homepage

    Unless your peddling links then i wouldn't worry about PR but rather serps ;)

    Its common nowadays to see this happen as a few of our sites have had the same thing
    and much like someone mentioned it will get evened out next time and if it dont then...

    The poster said he/she did no deeplinking, so that is weird.

    I do notice that it is essential to deep link these days to pick up any juice at all to inner pages. Otherwise, I have often had inner pages with higher PR than the front page. They may have had some content that attracted backlinks form other websites, plus a link from the front page of my site.

    This really does not answer the question, but I do notice that it is more important than ever to inlcude inner pages in navigation and deep link to them.

    Sometimes these things do happen. Google trusts some pages more than other.
