No this isn't a joke. But what is, is Googles search algorithm. How is this so? One guy found that negative publicity is what drove him serious sales. Just imagine having a website that takes your orders, rips customers off and then when they contact you, you just threaten them and it gets you more traffic. Yes, this actually happened. Perhaps it may increase his traffic, but I don't think that traffic will get him much sales. What a sick guy, harassing that woman in such a way is out of order.
Yeah I read about this also. Awkward as it sounds. I think the problem is both the linking and the name of the site/owner being mentioned on such a respected site. Who knows why, but it all ends up working out for the kid in the long run. Don't be too upset, people like that ALWAYS get what is coming to them. Especially the longer they have it "good" the harder the fall can be.
