    Hello,
I just checked msn search results for term seo friendly and was amazed to see my site http://www.sbclansite.com at the top #1 position. Is that good thing or just a flux at msn datacenter, however the site cannot be seen on google for search term seo friendly but is at rank # 8 for seo friendly directory << why so much difference ?

However for term seo friendly directory the same site ranks #3 on msn result.

Anyone got clue why msn has so much variation and ranking #1 in msn good or its just false hope :D

It is often seen that higher ranking can more easily be achieved on MSN than Yahoo or Google. This is certainly the case for 99% of my keywords, my highest rankings are all in MSN. This does generate some traffic for my sites but lower rankings in Google generates MUCH more traffic.

I agree and i think msn bot works harder than google bot (lazy bot ):D but getting rank #8 for a slightly different term on google has any significance ? If so i can start charging people more cash for their links :D :D . But probably will keep it free till next update ( its predicted to have pr 5 but lets see ).

But strange thing is msn used like only 50mb bw whearas g-bot used over 3.51 GB already ( i think its time for me to report to google to surf slowly my site).

For my main keyword I have #1 spot on MSN, and #5 on google. My website gets around 50% more traffic from google. So there you go :)

It seems that MSN favors new content highly. I tend to get rankings quickly with MSN but if i dont keep the content new, in a few months i will lose the top spot. Google and Yahoo rankings tend to move more slowly and remain longer.

Not bad at all. Though I guess it depends on how many people are searching for those phrases. How much traffic are you getting?

It’s very easy to get #1 on MSN, I have several sites that don’t show on google or yahoo and are on the first page of MSN. MSN targets fresh content.
The MSN bot works really hard is always spidering around, google just spiders 1 or 2 pages and then 1 day comes and spiders a loot of pages in one go.
