tattoos-by-design.co.uk the site is still running the ads just fine however it will not validate,

error; Ads not found on http://www.tattoos-by-design.co.uk/

The ads are at the bottom of the homepage and run without any problems?

Looks like your IP is blocked for making excessive queries to the ad server.

Arggh, give me strength, thanks for the reply.
Ads are still rotating just now, and I have never had the site not validating before for that reason.

I guess the ads will stop soon then if that's the case, time to look for some php based solution, sigh

But if the ads run, wouldnt it still validate?

No, because the validator would not be able to get to your server's IP address, so it would have no clue what's there.

:( oh well, I guess that's the end of the road there then.
I wish I knew the future impact of having my sites ASP based 4 years ago, damn you BILL, you have ruined everything!!

 Maybe I'll be back if there's some way to integrate the php script, thanks.

My ads_network_ads.txt file is still being updated?
    Last modified date : 23.32

My first post was at 22.28 after not being validated for the site.

How can I be banned if the text file is caching and all ads are still being displayed properly and still rotating?

<edit> ads text file now shows modified time of 23.43</edit>

No idea... I didn't write the ASP code. The ad server automatically blocks IPs if they are making too many requests to the ad server. Your site was making a LOT more than 1 request for a new ad every 15 minutes (which is how the normal PHP version works).

Oh, if only that meant that my site was just way too popular :)
I know its not your code, just grasping at straws a bit, you know...

It's not your deal to support it either, as you know I have been blocked before, every other time the txt file goes to 0kb and this time the ads run and the text file gets updated which I could only presume would be from DP so I thought it "may" be something else as the ads shouldnt cache to the text file if I was banned again.

shit happens, better go looking for some fresh powder and a php based thingy ma jiggy that works properly.

Great, how do we find out if an IP address is banned?
Also, what about us that host 9 sites on a single IP address?
I sell a LOT of items a day on ebay, which is directly linked to my various sites. Could the ban have happened when you upgraded to the new version and I was on vacation? The .txt files are updating without problem.

Ok, my IP wasn't banned, but my sites were still not validating.
I just happened to test another site, and it validated. I put in the second coop I was using, and then would NOT validate. Took that second coop out, and validate again. So, I took the second coop out of all my sites, and everything validates just fine. :)

My problem was solved when I took a second coop off my pages. Now all my sites validate fine. When I test add the second coop back, the site doesn't validate. :)

TOS say only one co-op style ad network can be used if running DP co-op.

Kewl. Guess I didn't read that part. Never was a problem until the new version came out. Would have been nice to know as it would have saved me 2 weeks of crying. BUT, since it says that, I am perfectly happy that all is well now. (Except maybe that I have seen several sites that use more than one - which gave me the idea of using more than one to begin with.)
Just curious as to why only 1 coop?
