site not validating - https?

I've got a site I just installed the ad network on (I don't believe there are any TOS problems), that won't validate.

I do an automated redirect from http://www.domainname.com to https://www.domainname.com. Is that likely the problem? If so, how might I correct this? (I have to do the redirect, consumers are expecting a 'secure' site).

    Thanks!

You cannot redirect the base URL.

I can't get a hand review or something? Surely it's clear that a redirect from http to https isn't what your trying to guard against?

Why not set the base URL to be the actual URL?

    sigh.

the actual url is https. the ad network setup tool is forcing me to enter http. If I could enter https, i'd be set.

If you mean, why don't I just use http on the site, consumers expect an encrypted connection when they visit the site.
