I have that problem.. my website is not on the first place (as it should be normally) when i search for it with the query "xxxxxxx.com". Why does this happen? I read somewhere that this is because of the non-www domain added to google. Anyone with an idea?
its probably because you post your domain in other sites that has better SERP than you have... but its wierd i tried to search your domain with "www" i cant find it...
It's hard to tell, but let me ask you this. Were you ranking for any keywords? And if so did you drop from position 60+ spots?
penalty? i don't know... i had penalty, but removed the suspicious links and they brought it back. I think it is because google indexed the www of the site, lately. I will leave it like that for some time to see what will happen. Later i may redirect the non-www to www with 301 I have seen other people talking about this and they say they didn't lost traffic and ranking because of this.
This happens to some of my sites too. This is especially true for when a site is rather new. Simply your site hasn't been indexed as much as sites that link to it, and sites that link to it have better SERPs for a while for that "keyword" (I use the term keyword reluctantly here).
If its a new site don't worry, keep on building it and within the next 2-3 months it will probably rank better
Nice name, but be careful with TM issues. The olympics committee doesn't take too lightly with such issues.
It's a new website, don't worry just give it some time to get a trust value for the domain and then you will rank again.
