Hey all, we're looking for some professional/expert opinions on this one. We have about 160 domains that we need to develop. We want to integrate the content from all sites/domains into one database to make it more cross-site user friendly. Every site/domain will hold hundreds of articles and videos. What would you say is a good reliable CMS for such a major site network? Are joomla or drupal going to cut it or should we look for something more advanced? Thanks.
You can use Drupal, it easy to handle multi site, for example Team Sugar one of the largest woman network and hub of 14 popular big sites like. popsugar.com, buzzsugar.com etc. with total 21 million pageviews per month. For more information you can read Team Sugar article.
thanks bnandika, I'll check it out Do you know if it's possible to run several Drupal installations from ONE database?
I don't know if it possible run multi-site with only one database, better ask the multi-site experts at Drupal.org
