    And now back to your question
    You can try many online tools to create sitemap for your website and download the XML version there and upload it to the root direct in the FTP. Here is the tool I usually use for sitemap work and recommend this to all as it can give you sitemap for 500+ pages and also gives all versions like HTML, XML and txt etc.
