site map update frequency

    In an attempt to create more content for my site i'm writing articles and posting them to my site, at about 1 a day. Should i update my sitemap and resubmit it to google each time i do that?

    AutoMapIt has a daily update feature available and I used that on all of my sites for the past 6 months. Every day my site was crawled and Google/Yahoo were alerted of the updates.... I have never had a problem, got PR5 on nearly all pages in the first update, and many top spots for multiple keywords.

    Your mileage may vary, but daily updates certainly didn't hurt any of my sites (or my beta group who have had daily updates as well). My only suggestion would be to notify "only if changes were made" to your site.
