site map submission to google

Do we need to submit our sitemap on regular basis(say once in month )to google or only once in life time?

 

Once in a while as you add or change page(s) content

 

Ok so mine is a discussion forum , so contents are supposed to be changed almost daily, so does it mean i need to submit sitemap almost daily??submitting site map does not put the crawler to index the site again and it will again take months to index my site???

 

the frequency of spider visits seems to depend how often your content changes, the News website content changes every 10 mins, thefore the spiders tend to crawl it constantly.

 

so do new sites need to submit sitemap daily or in 10 mins ?

submitting you site map as i understand just ensures that google indexes all your pages when it does visit, it will not speed up the spiders indexing your page.

 

Just create sitemap e.g. once a week or something like that.

 

i think if you have regulary updated content then you must submit daily or atleast in a week, signup for google webmaster tool and set frequency there for better results

 

i have a blog.. from blogger.. my all post are not showing in google..
maybe some prob with sitemap submission .. written (disallow ) please help me

 

I was once in the very same position as you have often thought that it was important for me to constantly keep on submitting the XML sitemap to Google. But I found out that even though I've not submit the sitemap for the last one month, Google Webmaster tools shows that the last submitted date was yesterday. So I'm guessing not

 

Yes i am agree with your answer . If you put sitemap on website then Google can easily crawl your website.

 

Each time you create a large quantity of content, such as 10+ pages for static websites,(not dynamic content) and if you have a dynamic website update it every 100+ (if it's updated every fricken day). Hope this helps.

 

If you regular change or update your content then it is best that you also regularly change or update your sitemaps as well and submit them to Google. Also to get your changes recognized and to prevent Google from showing the old URLs instead of the new ones you should also highlight your page and build links to such pages.

i think we don't have to keep submitting again and again

 

A dynamic Sitemap will update itself automatically, which is useful if you update your website on a regular basis. For that you can use URL rewriting method.
