Site loding slowly.

Am getting the reloading problem now ;(

 

Me too . What's going on?? I always have to click on refresh....

 

I get constant "can't connect" messages on DP. Sometimes, they even pop up when the page has already loaded.

 

I thing that too many people load. I have same problem.

 

I get a lot of blank white screens along with very slow loads. I'm sure they are working on it. Being popular as DP is, does have a few disadvantages and managing massive traffic is one problem I wish I had.

Hoping it gets fixed soon, and thanks to Shawn and the mods for making this a great forum!

 

Starting to get really annoyed now, half the pages don't load... and when they do I get a stupid connection reset error

 

I was facing the same problem here few minutes back but now it seems ok.

 

Have been slow all day. A bit faster now. This happends way to often..

 

I find it totally odd that no mod has made an appearance here to give anyone a heads up, but if one of your GD posts are a character too short, they are all over your with neg rep...so stupid with that neg rep.

yeah, I don't even post here anymore because the site loads SOOOO slowly. It's sad too, shawn has some ROCKIN' servers for this site....

 

I find it totally odd that mods have made an appearance and provided updates, but certain members choose to complain about rep...stupid rep.

In case anyone missed it...Shawn (DP's owner/admin) has stated that the issues are bandwidth related and an order is in to increase bandwidth which should eliminate the performance issues.

Although I'd take a shot in the dark and say the majority of the problem is caused by people continually refreshing the page due in part to DP's servers going into overload, or by their own internet connections being sucky.

It's the way the cookie crumbles, guys.

 

Shawn's stated the servers are fine, not even close to being overloaded. It's all bandwidth issues during peak times. I take am at his word as no one would know better than him.

We'll all be happy to see it resolved

Is it just me or is the whole forum generally been running slowly for the past few months?

Every page seems to hang for a few seconds or more.. even logging in/logging out seems to take a while

Ocassionally it doesn't even load properly at all

Nope, I am using the tweaked firefox and digital point is running just fairly fine. Maybe it is my patience but everything loads and runs just smoothly to my eager perfections
