Site links on google removed?

My website used to have about 8 site links listed but now only 4?
Why is that? How can I get them back?

 

Only google knows. What google says on their blog is:

 

For Example some yellow pages register your information its happen ...its incomplete its happend

 

These change from time to time depending on the quality how google rates them

get more quality back link google will provide that...

 

I guess the better way is to get goo quality backlinks for your site and posting original content.

 

may be you are loosing ranks..
check of you received any penalty from them.

 

Have you changed around your structure/categories on your site? If so, you might want to restore it to how it was.

If you didn't change anything then you'll need to work on getting more backlinks and possibly work on internal linking structure.

 

The caused of this was most likely due to the site being down.

 

only long time downtown would be affecting the site sitelinks/

 

Update: This is really weird, I submitted a reconsideration notice to Google regarding the site links being removed and 3 days later, everything is back to normal.

I thought reconsideration notice is when your site is banned. Creative thinking on your part. What did you mention in your notice?

 

All I said is that my website was down for 2 weeks and it is now fully restored along with all its content. By the way, Google actually provided me with better site links this time. I guess it was worth it.
