    Hi,

My website is around 5 months old. Unfortunately I did not get enough time to work on it in the past few months. Starting this month, I've completely changed the site structure and have added new content almost daily. When I post an article, I also submit it to some social channel like Digg (which I have never done before).

The results were that my article page would usually get indexed the very next day. So the first few days my articles were appearing on the first page results (which I admit I did not expect) , but then suddenly one day all of the links vanished from the search results !:( I found out that were still indexed and even submitted a small sitemap of those links at the google webmaster tools area.

Later some the links reappeared and others disappeared and sometimes the links from my site would be replaced by the Digg article about it.

As I am new to running websites, I just wanted to ask if this kind of behavior is normal ...

One thing I would like to point out is that the webmaster content analysis did show duplicate meta and titles for many pages (as i am running the site on joomla and the apache mod rewrite causes multiple links for the same page.. which i am trying to resolve) but some pages with duplicate title and meta are shown while others are not..

Thanks a lot for your time and your views ..eager to hear some advice soon!!

If you have recently changed the site, allow up to a couple of weeks for the site to be fully reindexed and for all the changes to filter through to all the difference Google data centers. Things should then stabilise.
