the keyword SEO friendly directory. I'm shocked. Or is this pretty normal? I know 66-249-72-229.googlebot.com practically lives in my site since 3 days of launch.

How can I keep it up there?

its quite easy to rank for SEO friendly directory as there are only 3 million return for that keyword which isnt very competitive.

I hate to burst your bubble but usually new sites rank well in Google at the beginning and then fall into the sandbox for a while so I wouldn't get your hopes up too high.

i guess it depends on what data center your view the result fro, any way your aim now is to try and keep it above #23

Well done, to celebrate your success I've just submitted three sites:)

However, as said above, avoiding the sandbox at the end of a few weeks is the big challenge...it can sometimes take a very long time to reclaim the position you reach in the first few days:(

That doesn't quite make sense, I thought you were automatically put in the sandbox when opening a new site?? I opened mine in February and I've yet to land in any sandbox, knock on wood :D .

hit the nail on the head. I find that the new site effect lasts around 3-4 weeks, but it depends on how competitive your keyword is.
