Site is down

    Well, it has now been down for the last 10 hours or so. Is this likley to have a negative effect on the SERPS. How long before it becomes detrimental?

    Does anyone if Lunarpages will be open today, seeing as it is christmas day?

    I had this happen to me at the same time Google was updating. My SERPs plummeted. My host was dead for a few days though.

    yes it shows negative effect on serp but google corrects it at the next crawl for your web site
